 Journal Description:

The Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences (JPAS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research, review articles, and short communications in the fields of pure and applied sciences. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for the dissemination of innovative scientific findings with both theoretical and practical significance. JPAS covers a wide range of subject areas including materials science and engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, environmental sciences, and related applied disciplines, with particular emphasis on materials development, characterization, and applications. All submissions are subjected to rigorous peer review to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance.

ABSTRACT [capitalized, justify, not bold]

The abstract should contain the summary of the content of the research paper. It should not be more than 250 words [no indentation, not italics].

 Keywords: indicate maximum of five (5) key words separated by semicolon, no italics, and should not repeat phrases from the article title.

Main body:

1.         Introduction

A text of an introduction detailing the background of the research and literature review. Numbering citations should be used in a square bracket e.g [1], [1, 2], or [1-3].

2.         Materials and method

This section should contain sub-heading discussion of each steps carried out including figures and table where applicable. Each sub-heading title should be in italics and be numbered 2.1, 2.2, etc.

Tables are to be numbered Table 1, 2, 3, depending on the number of Tables while the caption should be placed above the Table and centralized. The Tables should also contain no grid line (Plain Table 2) while the spacing within the Table should be 1.5.

All figures should be centralized while their captions are to be placed below the figures. It should be numbered same way as in Table.

3.         Results and Discussion

This section should contain detail discussion of the results obtained in the research. It should be sub-heading depending on the parameters or tests conducted and numbered 3.1, 3.2, etc. as the case may be. Each sub-heading title should be in italics. Discussion of each result in the sub-heading should be done first, then the appropriate table or figure of the result should be placed underneath with their caption.

4.         Conclusion

A text of Conclusions. This can either be in block form or bullets as the case may be.

 References

All citations are to be in English, number of references should not be less than 20. Spacing should be 1.5.

Self-citations should not exceed 10% while the most citations should be Scopus-based and Web of Science. Citations should be numbered at this section as they appear in the main text enclosed in squared bracket. The use of DOI at the end of each reference is not mandatory. All authors should be listed no et al.
